WEEKLY 2 - DERIVE

I started with (1) Nationalgeographic.com, I company for which I hope to work someday
Browsing through the various articles and photos on the homepage, one photo stuck out to me and I clicked it.

After reading about the photo that caught my eye, I kept perusing the photo page for other interesting finds.
Below the photo were links to various “Photos of the Month” pages, so I clicked the most recent: March 2018.

After scrolling through the ten selected photos, I didn’t see anything that struck my fancy so I scrolled away
and was instead greeted by a link to “5 Breathtaking Timelapses that are Perfect for Spring.”
Being a timelapse enthusiast and shooter myself, I took the plunge.

Thus far, this was themes interesting page. Within 4 seconds I had spotted an absolutely INCREDIBLE looking
thumbnail, but rather than playing the video, I clicked the Artist’s name and thus went to his website.
(5) http://www.thomas-blanchard.com. This site left me absolutely dumbfounded. Not only had I discovered
an artist with work extremely similar to my interests, I had actually stumbled upon the very artist that had
designed the content of my favorite advertisement. So not only was this a fun experiment, I actually chanced
upon someone I’d actually wanted to know more about.
