Uncategorized Fear Collection

I'm scared of a creature that was in an episode of the X-Files. It was invisible and I don't remember too much else about it, but I saw the episode as a kid and it totally freaked me out and stayed with me. Any time I'm alone in the dark I get freaked out because I just have an irrational fear it might be there with me and I wouldn't know since I can't see it.

Wild Rabbits. I had one bite me once and have been afraid of them.

This may seem random but I think birds look disgusting. Maybe because they are too different from humans and they can fly. I also fear that they will bite me. I jump away whenever birds of any kind get close to me.

Monkeys. They can rip off your face and they have bone muscle making them extremely strong with superhuman strength. I am afraid of monkeys and won't have them as pets.
They are scary to me because they come right at you. I guess I associate it with horror films as well.

Frogs have wet and ugly skin! There is a feeling of disgust when I see frogs.

Raccoons I'm afraid of. Raccoons are one of the animals that are rapidly losing their fear of humans. Now and then, I'll catch new brief's on raccoon behavior. They almost always start with the raccoons raiding the disposal bin and being found by the homeowner who tried to run them off only to have the raccoons turn on the homeowner. I've had personal experience of this upon meeting raccoons on my deck while they were looking for food. At first I made the mistake of trying to shoo them off, but they just stood their ground. I could tell by the look in their eyes that I'd best get back inside the door.

I most fear a great white shark. Mainly because if you encounter one you are in water and they have home turf advantage. They have sharp teeth and once they lock onto their prey they rarely give up until they catch it.
