The Spotify Web API gives metadata on music artists, albums, and tracks. Music is a big part of my character and inspiration to my work, so I would be interested in doing a data visualization on Spotify because it is the main platform I use to access music. I think it would be exciting to see the variations of interest in music genres and artist according to region, age, and time. The politics of this API are national because of the terms of services Spotify has based on REST principles while still acquiring some global standards.
