Personally, I don’t think about internet surveillance as often as I should. It never really bothered me to a crucial point that the internet was accessing information about me and using it as profit. However, Xin Xin’s lecture made me feel more scared and stripped of a privacy that I have a right to. We downloaded Chrome Extensions HTTPS Everywhere and Badger, which I think I will keep using since they seem to be helpful tools in taking the first step to secure my privacy.
