Lolita's Mexican Food
Welcome to Lolita's!
Here’s a picture of the newly-remodeled Lolita’s. It is one of the more popular spots because it has a lot of Yelp reviews, but I don’t think it is necessarily any better than other Mexican food places I like, and I don’t drive by it very often so I rarely go here.
One reason I do go to Lolita’s is for their potato rolled tacos. I hadn’t mentioned it earlier but I’ve been a pescatarian for 5 years, so I rarely eat rolled tacos anymore since they are usually filled with meat. Lolita’s however, is one of the few Mexican restaurants in San Diego that has potato rolled tacos, so I always eat them when I’m there.
Lolita’s is one of the few restaurants that has Mexican drinks on tap so that's pretty cool. I don’t drink them often anymore but I used to drink a lot of jamaica (hibiscus tea) as a kid, and my sister would drink a lot of horchata.
