T he art I make is for young people around my age but not specifically. This is what I relate to the most and are what many of my subjects fit into, but the topics I deal with can be related to on any level at any age. I want to show my strength as woman in the creative field and music industry, and highlight these strengths in our younger generations who are more open and accepting than ever. Creativity and genres have blended to create amazing new art, fashion, lifestyles, etc. Music, fashion and art are hugely connected now and are breaking genres. The internet is a big part of all of our lives now, and I want this is play a big role in the look and layout of my website. I grew up in the early 2000s and that time holds a dear spot in my heart, in both aesthetics and trends so I will probably include these elements, but tying it back to current trends which overlap anyway.
I want people to experience cultures and groups/subsets that they maybe haven’t before but see the beauty and intricacies of it as well. A lot of my work adds a somewhat mystical or just off element to the “real/normal” world. Leveraging the web allows me to display many different kinds of art, both moving and still, in the most appropriate place that has had a huge impact on my life and many others. The internet makes trends and showcases them and that is what I am hoping to do on my site.
