weekly 6

I think overall, the guidelines for Apple products are generally straight-forward and meant to make the user experience more comprehensible. As I was browsing through the guidelines, I was struck by the way the guidelines are written, in that they sound a lot more like commands than suggestions, which I guess could potentially be negative. Phrases like "Respect the gestures for entering Mission Control." and "Don’t use notifications to display error messages." are not necessarily meant to sound pushy, but overall, they again, sound like commands rather than friendly reminders. I supposed the goal of this type of document is meant to provide answers and advice, so I can understand why it needs to be written in this manner. Other than that, I found the content mostly positive; if someone is trying to trouble-shoot something, they can look to these guidelines as a starting point and refer back to them.
