To begin the dérive, I went into my old bookmarks, and just clicked on a video I had saved years ago. I went between links the same way each time, clicking on an interesting selection in the suggested videos column as the current video was nearing to an end. At first, the list suggestions were purely related to the current one, but as I a went from video to video, the suggestions became populated with videos that seemed targeted at comedy pieces, specifically Louis CK that I had been watching a couple months ago. After watching the first out of place suggestion, the suggestions went back to mainly referring to the current video, leading me to a conspiracy video about comedian Bill hicks being Alex Jones.
