I find the deprecation API policy interesting because the policy states that the life time limit of an API.
With the deprecation policy, I can build a schedule of what an API can provide. I think of it as "The Story of an API" as if an API was a human being or a story character.
The information that is available is up to the API company that provides the information to the API consumers. Because there is a time limit within the API, I think information that it is summarized might be the best option to choose (rather than a wide range of information).
Having the power to control an API death, there is a lot of things I can do with the deprecation policy. I could misguide the API users trust by providing false information. I could also build the anticipation of an API user by guiding them toward the next API (similar to how an singer produces a song and builds anticipation for the next song with a teaser)
The politics within the deprecation API policy includes as such: Stability, Rate-Monitoring, Communication, and Security
