After some research into API's I use on a daily basis, I decided to look into Tumblr's API which allows you to access user-created content, statistics like followers, likes, page visits, and gives you the power to draft posts, blogs, and more.

Tumblr is a website that focuses on user-generated content, and how it gets shared and reposted across the platform. It's a way to communicate and curate a personal blog through a followed feed of other blogs.

With this API, you could combine the blog and curation aspect with something like a personal shopper-style website. Instead of curating a blog, you could pick and choose clothing and styles for yourself or others, and end up with a colleciton of pieces that include purchasing links to take your style from virtual to real.
