To test out the functionality of IFTTT, I created a simple recipe so that whenever a new photo was uploaded onto my photos folder of my google drive, it would automatically send out an email with the photo attachment to the address I specified. I succesfully received the email within a few minutes of the photo upload and I can see this feature being useful for sending out files to a mass audience.
