What's UGLY or PRETTY on the Internet?

This is a cover of a Japanese magazine that I liked on Pintrest and it considered pretty and attractive to me because it caters to my tastes of graphic design, imagery and the use of composition. I think Pintrest in general has a really polished and pretty aesthetic because everything is filtered out and this site is used for alot of people to create useful moodboards and it's rare that you would put something unattractive in a moodboard you want to take inspiration or refer back to.

This is an amazing image I found on tumblr.com that was on my feed and I consider it "ugly" because it's so funny because of how bad the photoshop skills are but it's insanely relatable to a large audience since it's purpose is not to be "pretty" but to be a reaction image or a feeling that all of us can understand. This image also revolves around meme culture where the creator could have purposely made the image in this fashion to provoke and entertain a different set of audiences with less of a filter.
