I found a Beer API that lists out all the possible brands of different types of beers from root beer to pale ale. I would possibly build a visual database of how popular each different types of beers are according to different regions and countries. You could also create a visual database that looks at the differences/similarities of the beer bottle designs and coordinate it with color or style. The API shows us how many types of beers, breweries and people who are into these kind of alcoholic beverages. I can learn a lot about each countries preferences and learn about the alcohol content or flavors there are out there. This API seems quite open because this is good for promotions and publicities for each of the breweries and beer types. The information seems more harmless than social media sites with more personal and specific information about individuals.
