Over the past couple of years there has been a lot of conflict and controversy in Venezuela and surrounding the coverage of it. For my recipe, I decided to tag the articles written in the NYT about Venezuela in order to learn more about the things happening in the country - something that I have been meaning to do. I already have a decent amount of knowledge about the conflict and have formed my own opinions about it, so it was interesting to see the headlines/articles coming from the NY Times in relation to the ongoing conflicts. A lot of the headings were about corruption, which is a perspective that I don't really agree with. Ideally, I would like to see more reporting coming from people within Venezuela, but of course that is highly censored. I find the morality surrounding the reporting to be very interesting.
