Response to Ice Poseidon’s Lucrative, Stressful Life as a Live Streamer

The idea of having people watch you every day is scary enough,
but to have them have input in what you do with your life is terrifying.
After reading about Paul Denino’s experiences as an I.R.L. streamer,
I would certainly put more limitations on what would be shared with my
audience. I understand that people watching these streams are comforted
in a sense, as they feel as if they are hanging out with someone. If I
did end up streaming, I would try to combine this quality with
activities that promoted healthier ways to deal with mental health.
Whether it be what I do in a day to help myself be happy or interviewing
therapists, my goal would be to normalize getting help. With all this in mind,
I would definitely limit the personal content shared, but treat the streams more
as an informative performance.
