CLEARLY this piece reeks of mundaneness and a lack of creativity, but there's a good reason why I want to show it. As discussed in my Pre-College Chronology (and UCSD Chronology as well), I've been interested in graphic design since a young age; I just didn't put a name to it yet. This piece is an early, if admittedly ghetto, example of the kinds of designs I was doing when I was younger.

This particular example is part of a "newspaper insert" I put into mix tapes of my favorite songs published every half-year. It was meant to detail the current events in the world at the time that I made the mix tape. Kind of hard to explain, but the point here is, that even at a young age, I already had an aesthetic sensibility for unity, consistency, & hierarchy in my designs, even if, again, they weren't particularly out-of-this world designs...yet.
