Cornerstone Publicity | Fall 2008 | (1) 18 x 24 Poster

I am involved in a group at my church that caters to LGBT persons, and how one can reconcile their Catholic faith with their sexuality. Past leaders have always depended on butcher paper & markers to announce our group around the church, but again me wanting to exercise my design muscles, I decided to up the ante on our publicity and make a full-on poster.

Visually I wanted something to represent both Catholicism and LGBT. First I thought about making a Rosary in the form of the Mars & Venus symbols, but ultimately I decided to make one graphic representing all groups, a flying gay pride flag made out of Rosary beads.
