MySpace Profile | 1 March 2006 | 1-page web design

You're going to see two Myspace profile designs of mine in this portfolio, and now before you strip me of my legit status, know that I have very good reasons why I'm presenting this as works for my portfolio.

I don't design my Myspace profile like most people do. If you look at most people's profile, they probably got the code for it from some layout repository made by somebody else. Not me. I like to get down & dirty into the code and tweak it to my exact liking. Before I learned to create DIV layouts on top of all the stuff, I would spend hours trying to figure out how to change & rearrange stuff on my page. It sounds a bit unusual (maybe), but the truth is that all I really need to know about HTML & CSS I learned on Myspace.

It's no coincidence, I think, that I started customizing my profile page around the time I started to realize that I was a graphic designer. By the time I received my acceptance letter from Design | Media Arts, I was already creating pages like this.
