100 notes and photographs collected over 10 years chronicling the inner workings of my punk rock street gang and band, E.F.S. The notes and photographs are arranged to make a navigable map of the social network in physical space. The installation also included a classroom that was setup with different learning materials (listening station, photographs, file archives, chalkboard diagrams) that helped me conduct lectures about E.F.S. history. The audio clip is a recording E.F.S. made in our apartment. E.F.S. is Abe Ringstaff (vocals, bass), Ewan Willey (guitar), Aaron Elliott (drums), Davey Whitcraft (guitar), Chris Gambin (mayhem), and Tom Crump (El Cerrito). Dedicated to Chris Gambin.
