2006 - 2010: UCLA - Design | Media Arts major

- Studying graphic design, motion, sound design, typography, and other digital media

Katherine has been working as a graphic designer for ASUCLA Marketing for almost four years now, designing and producing advertisements, posters, menus, and other signs that are displayed around the campus and central store. In addition to Marketing, she's had summer internships in graphic design through the Getty/JACCC and Affinity Associates (promotional products + tshirt printing company) in 2008 and 2009.

Since she started out primarily as a fine artist and then switched to digital media, she has a wide range of interests in different types of art and likes to combine traditional mediums (paint, charcoal, etc.) with digital software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. She likes mixing different media and merging her three main points of interest in art - graphic design, animation, and illustration.
