For this weekly, I set up an IFTTT recipe to send me a text every time NPR posted a new article in Arts and Culture. Lately I've been constantly bombarded with politics. Every feed is full of politics and nothing else. I needed a little more arts and culture in my life. I left this recipe running all weekend and was delighted to receive constant updates on arts and culture. I don't use many of the services on IFTTT, but I found it to be a good tool for filtering the news that I want to read when I don't want to look at a disgusting orange blob every time an article is posted.
