+ Prints from Processing

This project was done in Processing. The goal of the project was to create a parameterized pattern using the X and Y coordinates of the mouse to change the pattern and make prints. Find this program here.

I created the illusion of a microscope. The main focus within this microscopic world are two types of organisms with both a male and female and a baby for one of the organisms. The background consists of detritus and bacterium that are mostly based on simple geometrical structures, which gives more depth to the scene. Everything is drawn in Processing and true to nature the background is different everytime this world is conjured.

As the user moves the cursor from the Left of the screen to the Right a story unfolds and refolds as the cursor is moved back and forth. Story One (L > R): Female1 gets closer to having sex with Male1. As she gets closer, she becomes more happy and a deeper shade of pink, he gets less happy from restraint (the way she has sex with him is to sit on his head) and a deeper shade of blue (though he does not like the constraints of sex, his physiology betrays him and attracts the female moreso). Story Two (R > L): There are two green Male2s per Female2. One dies (shown by abnormal rapid cilia movement and loss of color) due to mutation or other genetic abnormality and the other fertilizes the female as she throws out her eggs. Story 3 (UP > DOWN): Baby from species 1 grows out its cilia. Also, Zoom In and Out.
